Sacred Dreams Scene 4 - now uploaded!

I wrote this track approx 2 years ago but never got around to completing it until now thanks to my dear friends Chris and Drew. Their music had inspired me so much which had enabled me to conclude the final composition. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

The purpose of this track is to symbolise a celebration of life, reaching for your goals and succeeding. Over a 5 year period in my life, I worked and studied around the clock to get progression within a company I use to work for, which resulted in me getting a significant promotion. This was an extremely happy time for me and Family. Life started to come together for us; buying our first house, and having those luxuries in life which we had only ever dreamed of. It just got better and better, my wife also got a promotion, and I moved jobs to a better position. We were on the way up, and we were beginning to smell the sweet smell of success.

I have been quite busy over the last few weeks, recording my forth track to sacred dreams, and also creating some Jarre covers too.

I have also been looking at new equipment for next year. As I have said before what I use to record my synths is not good, so I am looking to purchase a new Audio specific PC with a pro tools set up, this is quite costly but should give much more clarity to my work. I am also looking at purchasing some new synths too, and I have my heart set on a Yamaha Motif xs, the quality of this instrument is breath taking.

I have plans also to compose and produce a new album in 2009 using this new equipment focused around the track I made some years ago called "the lost valley" - I am planning to make an entire epic based around that track, and i am hoping to create something very special.

In addition - there will be a suprise too concerning another band on POP  - but lets not spoil that just yet  - ha ha..

There is some slight hiss on them, but given that the D50 is over 20 years old, it is to be expected, and also my recording equipment is not that great. I hope you enjoy anyway.

unfortunately equinoxe 5 is taking much more time than I planned for, as I am struggling to get the right sounds - you have to have the right lead sound for this, and I need to give this track justice, so I am going to take my time programming my synths.

Having a Roland D50 is a bonus, as these covers would not work without one, they just could not be done on soft synths, I have tried in the past and failed. I am very pleased the way they have turned out, and i am excited to hear your veiws.

The Album "Revolution" was a very different direction for jarre, one of which I wish he explored further. I think that these tracks symbolise what a fine composer JMJ is, and also holds very special memories for me.
